Piano Lessons for Adults with Musical Background

Diana Mascari playing piano

Thanks for visiting my website! I offer piano lessons for adults who want to build on their musical background and achieve their personal musical goals.

Everyone has different interests, skills, and experiences, so once I hear from you, in our free 30 minute piano consultation, I’ll recommend a plan to help you develop and personalize your piano playing.

Your lessons will be based on your goals & interests which can include any or all of the following:

  • Developing & improving music reading.

  • Improving hand independence.

  • Using effective fingering.

  • Learning to use the pedal effectively.

  • Standards, jazz, show tunes and/or classical music.

Through my unique Transformational Approach to Piano (TAP System), my lessons are designed to help you become the pianist you want to be.

In addition to including technique, music reading, some music theory, and some classical literature (if you are interested), your lessons will include learning to play songs with accompaniments based on chords.

Piano/Keyboard:

Students need to have a piano or digital piano (with weighted keys like a piano) For more information about pianos and keyboards, see my blog article: What's the Difference Between a Piano, a Digital Piano and a Keyboard?
