By learning to play songs at simple, intermediate and advanced levels, you will develop a repertoire of standards, show tunes and/or jazz tunes at each stage of your development.
If you prefer a mixture of material, your lessons can include classical pieces at levels matched to your ability and experience.

In 1 to 3 months you’ll learn to play about 5 songs, each with a different accompaniment pattern. The chords and styles you'll learn will set your path in motion.
In 3-6 months, building on the skills developed, you’ll learn 5 more songs that are more advanced as your confidence builds.
In 6 months to a year you’ll learn to play the 4 note chords characteristic of standards, show tunes, jazz. Your music will sound much richer and more professional. Your repertoire will double in length as your musical knowledge develops.
